Nominations are being called for the DR. DIBAKARNATH SHARMA AWARD for the best thesis in Family Medicine by The Academy of Family Physicians of India (AFPI)

Dear Friends
Academy of Family Physicians of India (AFPI) is happy to call for nominations for the 'Award of Best Thesis in Family Medicine' from among MD and DNB Family Medicine Postgraduates who have joined for MD/DNB in the year 2020 & 2021.
The award will be presented to the winner at the 6th National Conference of Family Medicine and Primary Care 2024 (FMPC 2024) at Rishikesh.

Criteria

1. The award is open to the family medicine residents from various medical institutions/hospitals from India who have joined for the MD/DNB course in 2020 and 2021.
2. It is mandatory that the applicant should be a member of Academy of Family Physicians of India (AFPI)
3. Only MD and DNB Family Medicine Postgraduates are eligible for this award
4. The thesis work must be original and all illustrations, diagrams, tables, etc., should have been prepared by the candidate himself / herself.
5. Soft copy of the thesis and all the supporting documents mentioned should be submitted through the Google form attached
6. The winner will be decided by a panel of experts based on specific criteria and their decision will be final
7. Last date for submission of the application for the award is September 10th 2024
